Friday Night Vodka Buzz. Ask me anything.

Two shots to get the party started. Now a Betsy Ross. Brandy, ruby port, and Cointreau. I’ve mixed one before, but this time, I substituted pear brandy, mostly because the bottle I have currently is not that great, and I need to use it up.

Yummy!

I’m going in for my second procedure on Monday morning. I was overwhelmed by everyone’s kindness the last time around. So it should be no surprise to hear that:

I love you all…

There’s a stent in there. When you urinate, everything contracts. And when it contracts over the stent, it hurts.

But at least: no blood. I’m thankful for that.

It’s just to ensure that the debris caused by the lithotripsy can get out. After a certain interval, they take it out, and normality is restored, if they can determine what is normal anyway.

On Monday, the old one comes out, they do the lithotripsy, then the new one goes in.

There was blood, then the pain. The urologist said to drink a lot of and jump up and down to help pass it. I did, no luck.

The urologist said, “We’re going to have to go in and get it.” I did not like the way they were going in.

The procedure was scheduled for early one morning. I got up early that morning to get ready for driving to the hospital. I went to the bathroom……and passed the stone.

I took it to the hospital. The urologist looked at it and said, “You can go home.”

I work well under pressure.

Best wishes for your recovery. Cheers 🍷

I’m already out of paid time off, with at least a week to go in my recovery.

That's a cup of strong French style coffee with a shot of anisette. Sweeten with honey.
