Somebody please explain it to me. And please explain it to me as if I'm a "dim bulb" because apparently I am. I have absolutely no idea at all what this joke is about. I don't get the setup, I don't get the punch line, I don't get any of the subsequent comments. And what does GMTA (Floyd R. Turbo's comment) mean?

The joke I posted is a dark spin on those jokes. It hints that there are 6 bodies in the basement, the light bulb is burned out, there is an expectation that dead bodies could change the bulb, but won't, maybe because there are too many or too few dead bodies to do the job. Some of the replies want to know how many bodies I do have in my basement and how many more will fit. Just silliness. True Dough is quick to send humorous replies to my posts, and didn't disappoint today. There were some other good replies too.

I don't have any bodies in my basement. And the light bulbs work.
