Went grocery shopping yesterday. Pharmacy doing covid vax. They had

Moderna, which is unusual for them. Several people ahead of me, but total time less than 30 minutes, covered! No side effects. STILL waiting for that third arm!

5. getting mine next week. This coming week is a really busy one for me but I have down time

the week after. I heard today that Walgreens and CVS both have vaccine

6. I am so glad that my store had the Moderna, because they usually

do not. Perfect timing and all that. Saved me a trip this week.

7. I have an appointment for mine

tomorrow morning. Moderna at Walgreens. They are requiring a prescription here in NC, even for over 65. I contacted my primary doc and she sent it in.

My 39 yo son had to talk his primary doc into writing the prescription for him, but managed. Got his vax after work today.

8. I am wayyyy past 65, so apparently not an issue.

9. While I was there today

Another woman showed up who gets her vax there every year. The tech told her she must have a prescription for the COVID shot and I could hear the discussion that even the tech doesn't know why a prescription is now being required. The woman was also getting a flu shot, no prescription required. She was able to get through to her doctor's office and got it sorted. (I've been watching a lot of British shows.)
