My EBT card was just declined.

When I called the EBT number, I was told I had no balance. WTH? I know I haven't used it this month (It's valid on the 5th of each month). I'm shocked.

Call and ask their office what resources can help you untangle this.

I'm not familiar with how any of this works but with any electronic financial stuff I wouldn't rule out identity theft.

Calling the number on the card is useless in most cases. It's just an automated system. You'll need to contact a caseworker, to find out what the problem is. Good luck!
