Has anyone bought anything from Temu? What is your experience? I went to the website and the prices are a lot lower

then Amazon or Etsy for craft materials. Thank you,

I ordered the one thing I have gotten from them online from my computer.

I got two of them for my husband, who loves ravens. They work great and look great.

However, I just wanted those two things. I was not trying to connect with the company, nor was I trying to get on their email list. That is what happened, though. My email is flooded with Temu ads all the time. I get suggestions about them even when I am not shopping.

These days, ordering anything online is tantamount to inviting them into your house forever. Not a good thing, in my opinion. Boy, I miss the days when TV and radio was the 'media' and you could turn the damned things off of you didn't want to listen to them.

...as in, you may not get what you think you're getting.

Heavy dose of caveat emptor required.

He purchased two bowling jerseys for our bowling team. The image on them is the same but the colors are different. We've used them for two seasons and they've held up really well. He buys a lot of items on Temu and shows us some of the stuff. Overall, he's happy with them. I haven't bought anything off them, yet, but like with any online site look carefully at what you're buying.

I was low on funds but desperately needed to replace my couch. They had the best price. I don't remember exactly, but I think it came a few days later than expected. They still send me emails, which I delete unread. It's a decent piece of furniture. I sleep on it regularly.

and the quality of things, questionable. All of the clothing is not made of breathable fabric, and it is certainly not 'natural fibers.' I've never seriously been wondering if they have been crafting fabric with PVC and dryer lint.

No complaints, either.
However, I use the website and buy as a "guest".
I don't want the app on my laptop or my phone.
I haven't purchased anything big. A pair of casual shoes, a golf jacket, some rechargeable flashlights, a kitchen gadget... Things like that.
They're good at keeping you informed on shipping schedules, but I never got anything in a day or 2. Usual 5 or 6 days.

With my cats, they started coming apart within days, and by the end of a couple of weeks, most of the cats had figured out how to take them off and turn them into play toys. Haven't ordered anything since, and deleted the app, as getting 8 or more emails a day was too much.
