I just made brownies today (Ghirardelli, from Costco) and I used 1/2 Coconut Oil for the oil portion

Just tried one, and ... YUMMMM!!!

I don't care for raw coconut, but this just added a very subtle hint of coconut to the end result. Perfect!

Recommended if it sounds like something you might enjoy

Yeah, it's pretty big. Not 10 lbs but it had 6 bags of mix AZJonnie Sep 2025 #2
I've used the same, but usually dilute the box 50/50 with whole wheat flour bucolic_frolic Sep 2025 #3

The coconut oil was also Kirkland, a HUGE tub of unrefined. Mostly it's a semi-solid but there's always some liquid on the top, so I used that. It has all kinds of household uses though, something one can use up before it goes bad (which is a long time).

to cut the sweetness and sugar. I add a TBSP of cocoa.

Box is $3.89.

I usually don't eat sweets unless I've had an edible. In which case, I'm usually fine with really sweet stuff. Goes with the territory.

Not the case today, I only cut off a small taste of one because yeah, with my regular day-to-day taste buds, they're super sweet. I may try your idea next time, as I have many bags left. Thanks
