(27,772 posts)I 'm assuming you're are seeing a doctor and they are giving you some indication of a prognosis as well as doing anything possible to combat the situation. I hope you have family and friends who you can depend on while you go through this.

(6,594 posts)Fear creates chemicals that undermine the healing your body is already working on. You got a good diagnosis from a trusted medical team. They will know how to treat it. You'll go through treatment, and then you'll be okay again.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
