Thank you so much for this info...

They had me look at the Amsler grid in the retina office today, and the lines were perfectly straight! (this was without my reading glasses on).

I'm seeing the wavy lines and jumbled letters on TV chyrons without my reading glasses on, and on my desktop PC WITH my reading glasses on.

I made a December appointment with my regular ophthalmologist....I'm giving it some time to see if it clears up.

Hard to believe you need three different doctors for one eye!

I'll enquire about the prisms.

Thanks again, Marthe.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
