Strange drone traffic near my property.

See them most nights. There are usually 3. My sister in law claims to have seen 5 at one time. Red flashing light but can sometimes change to white. Why would someone fly them at night unless they have infrared cameras. Never see anything during the day. No much to see around here not many homes here mostly farm land. Upstate NY. Just looking for some input/ideas.

Perhaps they've been having issues with trespassers on their property, and they're using them to police their property to see and record what may be going on at night.

Do you know your neighbors and speak with them, even just occasionally? I'd start there, and if they are doing something nefarious, at least they know you're paying attention.

He's on vacation. Be back tomorrow. Tonight I counted 7 at one time. No problem with crime around here. Spoke with a guy who is an expert user and does pet finding from the air. He thought it was really strange especially for a rural area.
