That worked, and I also put seed (fruit, nut and seed mix) on the ground for them, the chippies, and ground birds.
It's great entertainment right outside my kitchen windows.
Our resident fox and hawk harvest a few that we've fattened up, but that's OK too.
As long as we're working in harmony with nature, it's all good.
