I was going through some old pictures today, and I found some that were about 20 years old?
We had two Shelties at the time. A situation arose in which a Border Collie needed a temporary home. So we fostered him. The Border Collie's name was Frank.
I was out somewhere one day, and when I came home and opened the front door, I discovered that Frank had torn up the living room and was hiding in the kitchen. My old digital camera happened to be close by, so I snapped a couple of pictures.
First, here's a picture of Frank. In spite of the fact that he tore up the living room, including one of my sofas (the pictures don't even come close to capturing the extent of the carnage), Frank was still a "good boy". So here's Frank, destroyer of things:

This next picture shows my two "permanent" Shelties looking at the carnage, while Frank was hiding in the kitchen. The looks on their faces cracks me up. It was a mixture of fear, and revulsion, as they look into the kitchen, waiting for Frank to come out.. If I knew how to do it, I would put speech bubbles over each of my dogs.
Dog on left is saying "You're a fucking asshole, Frank".
Dog on right is saying "Get me the fuck out of here".

(4,158 posts)went on vacation. He drove my gentle 3 year old Samoyed absolutely nuts. Its like he was a kid with severe ADHD; He never got tired and could run all day. The look on your shelties faces is just adorable! Thanks for sharing!

(23,443 posts)I use Irfanview to add text to pictures. No bubbles, though. I'd caption it-'If we stare at him long enough, Frank will get the blame!'
We had a couch just like that! My daughter's boyfriend at the time loved it. He'd fall asleep on it, sometimes spent the night.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
