1. Dunc the golden retriever

Is terrified of the neighbors inflatable Halloween decorations. He didn’t want to walk past their home this morning on our walk.

2. I don't set this up every year, Dunc

It's just an old Halloween costume over a tomato cage.

There were several neighborhood dogs that use to be frightened of this particular display so I either don't display it or I keep far away from the sidewalk so that they can't see it. I can see how Halloween displays could frighten the neighborhood dogs while out for a walk.





Please give Dunc some extra treats and hugs from me. 🐶

3. I have neighbors who have so many decorations out already

and I saw the UPS guy delivering a couple big boxes to them yesterday. Their front yard is a trip hazard. I'll try to get a picture.

Hope Dunc overcomes his shyness, poor baby.

5. Our poor pets.

First, all the scared animals on July 4 from the fireworks and now with all the scary yard decorations.

Ten foot tall skeletons seem to be the thing around here. I’ve seen a couple homes in my area that leave them up all year long …..
