(718 posts)You've reminded me of my cat, Chance, who needed to be bottle-fed long beyond the usual amount of time. He couldn't get the hang of eating. Finally he pulled so hard on the nipple that he pulled it out of the bottle and got splashed with KMR. He finally took a serious look at the baby-food meat we'd been offering.
His sister, who'd been found in the woods with him and his deceased mom and siblings, got the hang of eating right away but it just took Chance a bit longer.
Yes, of course he was a failed foster and was beloved for many years.
