We bought two of these cats. Upon opening the shipping box we were met with a foul smelling odor, and a white like substance oozing out of the area of the cats eyes. Be very careful with these cat heads. We removed our two cat heads to the local landfill letting them know of the problem. We tried removing the white substance, but it would not come off. Beware of these cat heads!!!

Looks like it could be Tourmaline... although I've seen tourmaline more often with the green streaks instead of orange. I adore those eyes, tho... I'd love to hold one of these and "feel" it... it's physical and metaphysical properties. The Craftsmanship is gorgeous! As for displaying it in my living room... with no problem! But I've seen too many mishaps with young relatives and pets to ever buy a curio that will roll. Or fall over too easily, like a very tall cat figurine of glass an old boyfriend gave me.
