They're attractive, BUT the tats block your sweat glands. And when this much skin is covered, that can affect body temperature.

Also, I've heard that the tattoo ink (certain colors) can end up in the lymphatic system.

I never really wanted one. But go into a yoga class, and there is hardly anybody without one. Younger women are big on tattoos.

3rd is a 4 Rose bracelet on my right wrist, and my 4th and last??? Is a rose ring on my right pinky finger. Only one i’m Disappointed in is the G. I had to have it enhanced by the guy who does the real Packer players tats. The guy who originally did it was a San Francisco fan, and I swear he did it on purpose. 😡

In solidarity with a female patient who was upset at the idea of the tattoos, I gave myself one on my left wrist, just under my thumb so she could see how small a positioning tattoo is.
She was a cool lady
Never regretted that.

I was in line to buy some coffee and a young woman in front of me had her hair pulled back and there were three little musical notes behind her ear. I complimented her on them and found out she was a professional musician.

But if I did, they definitely wouldn’t be nazi tattoos. Even when I drank (and I DRANK), I could never get drunk enough to get a Nazi tattoo. And if somehow I did, I definitely would have sobered up sometime in the ensuing 20 years long enough to notice I had a Nazi tattoo.

But no, I don’t have any tattoos.

I knew a lot of men and women in the AF who had them and I think it was just to stand out form the others. I never cared for tattoos because they look, IMO, hideous, and they cost too much to get. I'm retired living in San Diego, a Navy town, and I a lot of young sailors and their wives have tattoos and then they complain about how little money they have. I really can't sympathize or empathize with for spending hundreds to thousands of dollars on tattoo instead of they immediate and future needs.

A few years later, she got pregnant and that little fish looked like Moby Dick. No thank you.

I've also never dated anyone with a tattoo. I don't find them attractive, but YMMV.

Also my dad survived Auschwitz and he was forcibly tattooed because it's against Jewish law.
Just bad association for me.
Same with cremation.
I don't like face and neck tattoos but otherwise I don't care for other people.

...remember the Ed Hardy "fashion" craze from 20 years ago?

Tee shirts, hats and lots more stuff.

Here's the wikipedia entry.

And the wiki link to the Don Ed Hardy bio.

I scanned several of his original paintings, and created limited edition giclee prints which were signed and numbered by Don.

They sold for around $100.00 each.

I still have a few signed printer's proofs.

It wasn't that painful for me, however I did get lightheaded; a small bag of peanut M&Ms fixed me right up.
