before they even start playing: we get to hear "O Canada," the most beautiful and national-anthemish national anthem I've heard.

We can also mute ours so as not to be embarrassed by the difference.

1. I was thinking along those lines, too. O, Canada is a beautiful song and not as militaristic as ours..more peaceful

I’d love if we could somehow, someday, change our anthem to America the Beautiful. It’s much more representative of our country.
