Wow. This brings back some memories. It was 1979...

I was at this show and it was complete bedlam.

The air conditioning broke, and it must have been 120 degrees inside. A woman next to me passed out and I caught her as she fell into me. Medics had to come to help her.

A lot of people were getting naked.

I thought they were going to end the concert.

People were rushing the stage so hard that at 2:50 in this video, you can hear Phil Lesh issue a several minute plea for people to move back.

Damn...it's amazing what you can find on YouTube.

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
