Hello, my DU friends:

Today I am moving into my new retirement home. I hope I get this password right because I am a star member and I am not sure of my password (I don't have it listed anywhere). It's been a long time since I acquired it so I used what I use to get online.

I'll see you all later today or early AM tomorrow altho I may have to sign in as an unknown new member if I can't find my password.

Hope to see you soon!

it's stored somewhere. Click passwords in your browser and see a list of them all. Then download them.

I clicked the " . . . " icon at the top right, and then on the menu that pops up I clicked on "passwords", and sure enough, I had one password there which I IMMEDIATELY DELETED.

I don't want anyone with access to my computer (either in-person or remotely) to be able to view all my passwords. S C A R Y.

I know that this f'ing brower offers to save passwords (or it used to) and I never did and I turned that feature off long ago because it seems like the most insanely insecure thing I could possibly do, short of tatooing my social security number and date of birth on myself and running around naked.

On my Chrome browser, the menu icon is 3 dots vertically, I click on that and find a "Passwords and Autofill" item. I don't see any passwords, I just see a "Norton Safe Search" item (Norton is my anti-virus and security software) and it says "peace of mind with every search" so doesn't look like anything with passwords, whew.

Crap, I get up hoping to make some forward progress on things I need to get done, only to find yet another f'ing thing that needs to be taken care of immediately.

Then you need to get that switched on the account. Fyi those email accounts don't always close immediately so you may have some leeway to move to a new email if meeded. At the worst just use some variation like CT_yankee but that would reset your post count.

From windows before you disconnect.

Another option: get it via your email when you reconnect in your new home.

My in-laws moved to a retirement home and love it - lots of new friends and activities to enjoy every day. Please take care and when you get settled in, let us know how it's going. I always look forward to your posts.

Hugs and best wishes!
