2. Reminds me of a cocker I knew years ago

He was rescued from a puppy mill where he was used as a stud. Lived his first 10 years in an enclosed dirt run, never seeing the sky or grass. He was the sweetest, gentlest creature. When I took him for walks, he would run to tree stumps thinking they were new friends. He was like a 10-year-old puppy, living his best life after a decade of imprisonment. The resilience of his spirit taught me many lessons.
