It's a very strange feeling I'm experiencing . . .

. . . I am all set to leave the country for a month on Friday (traveling with my sister to Australia to visit a dear family friend). It's a trip I've wanted to do for years. And yet it feels so very strange to be leaving the country for a month having no idea what I will be returning to!

I’ve posted negative stuff here and on facebook about the orange turd for years and worried I could be on an enemies list. I got attacked recently viciously on facebook pointing out something about him and I ended up deleting the post.

Enjoy the lessening of daily psychic stress while there. (Just returned from a trip abroad to visit family, so nice to be somewhere sane.) Have fun!

Had no idea that Trump I would occur. thought normalcy had returned with Biden. However we got this mess with Trump II.

Not sure how I feel. The US was a country I emigrated to as a teenager, served in the military, and provided my retirement among many other things. No I'm wondering if I will even go back to visit.

My spouse flies back to Europe tomorrow and won’t be back until mid-December. He’s not worried but I am.

...using her Canadian passport, was worried coming back to the US that Customs would check her phone for anti-tr*mp content. And it is filled with memes, emails to her reps in DC, forwarded DU posts from me, texts to her 5 Canadian cousins and general dislike for tsf. Just having to be concerned about speech and thought in America is beyond troubling. They didn't even look at her luggage or anything thank goodness.
