Whew! I was up all night changing the clocks. I go through a little ritual...

1) I thrust my hips at the clock in order to assert dominance.

2) I then set the clock ahead ahead eleven hours, instead of turning it back one hour. They both have the same effect, but setting it ahead eleven hours is my way of "sticking it to the man".

3) I boldly yell at the clock "YOU WILL RESPECT MY AUTHORITAH"!

You can probably see why it took me all night to change the clocks.

there's about 15 clocks in this house, and I don't know how to change the time on half of them!

I just leave most of them as they are, and change the time on the ones that get looked at the most.

I'm always guessing what time it is.

Good morning.

There's 3 wall clocks but only 2 of them hang on the wall. The other wall clock must have a broken mechanism and I want to get it repaired (depending on repair cost) because it's terrific looking gear style wall clock.

Then there's 5 digital clocks including the programmable coffee maker and the stove.

I set the majority of them last night before I went to bed and only had 2 more to set this morning.

I forgot about the car clock and I went to fill up the car and went to store this morning. Now I have to get the owners manual out and read how to set that damn clock.

Good afternoon!

has wall clocks that are not on the wall!

I have this one clock in my garage...I purchased from Staples years ago. I installed horizontal 2x6s on one garage wall to hang garden tools etc, on. The garage has higher ceilings than the rest of the house, and this clock hangs on a 2x6 way high up, close to the ceiling, so I never change it because that would require me dragging the ladder out. The only time I touch it is when I have to change the battery. Even then, it's a pain in the ass to hang it back up; it takes me forever to hook it over the screw in the 2x6.

Also, there are two things that I'm terrible at, so I try to avoid doing them:

1) Winding up a hose or extension cord properly

2) Setting the time on digital clocks.

So best of luck in setting your car clock! I just leave mine.

Hope you are having a nice day.

Crap, it's 4:3something here and I still haven't changed the car clock or swept the Living room yet.

I've been working on cleaning the kitchen however.

I consider the fall back time change to be the correct time even though I think they should give us an extra hour of daylight in the fall/winter.

I hope that you're having a nice day as well, Lucky!

You have got to be an electrical engineer and double jointed plus have extra super vision to change the clock on that damn thing. Even while trying to follow the directions from the instruction manual. I hope whoever designed the interface on that thing was fired! I’m glad I have my own car with an easily changeable clock.

Is the after market car stereo an Alpine brand by any chance?

I forgot to set the clock above my front door. I did have one problem and that was with the car's clock. I changed it on Saturday but apparently it didn't take. I left to sub in bowling this morning and as I started driving I noticed the time was 9:04 am. Bowling starts at 9 am and I almost had a hard attack. I checked my watch and the time on my phone and both read the correct time; 9:04. Phew, that was a close one.
