Ghirardelli Intense Dark Chocolate Bars. One of life’s little pleasures. Only an occasional treat.

All very good, but I'm a purest. The dark, dark Belgian chocolate beat all the interesting nutty, salty, and carmel variations. They are $4 ish here in Seattle at Puget Sound Coup. When I have a bar around I can't resist breaking off a couple squares a couple times a day.

Haven't tried any of their other offerings.

My girlfriend wanted a good souvenir during our visit there, so I bought her a kilo ingot of dark chocolate.
She was thrilled !

10. If it's plain chocolate, I don't do cheap American chocolate

I mean I'll eat a Snickers or Kit Kat or Twix sometimes, don't get me wrong, but I'd never eat a plain Hershey Bar.

If I'm going to just have a square of chocolate, or something where chocolate is by far the main ingredient, needs to be Ghirardelli, or similar good-quality US chocolate, or something European like Lindt, Suchard, Tobler, etc. Ritter is also great stuff. Ferrera Rocher also makes some good stuff.

So I guess my answer is "yes, I do like them"

Hersey's special dark which probably wasn't that dark - but in comparison.
And sure a snickers, butterfinger, kit kat here, and there. But then there was Mounds! All.into my early 40's? But then I found Lindt Dark etc!

Anyway, the one milk chocolate I'd continued to eat were Reece's PB Cups.
Then I saw Trader's Dark Chocolate PB cups one day waiting on line.
Tasted ?slightly strange at first - but, then, yeah, oh I like alot ! 😄

Lindor truffles (red wrapper). I like the ones with peppermint pieces during the holiday season.
