What's the common bond here?

This is from todays' Connections puzzle. If you've done it, you know. I often wind up with the "purple row" at the end and sometimes could sit there all day without ever figuring out what these four words have in common.

Do you see it?

Gimme

Trouper

Mia

Queen

I only get the purple set about one in eight or ten days. Makes me feel good when I get it in the first two rows.
