Then some stranger takes it home. Like every pet outside is free game to carry home?
Obviously if it’s apparent that it was abandoned out in the middle of nowhere…..

was too small to live on his own, and the day was a cold one. I’m glad he was picked up by a kind person, which likely saved his life.
