The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsRory has passed away.
I am so overwhelmed with gratitude that you all gave me the opportunity to go and say thank you, to share how important he was in my life, to be able to hold his hand, to hug him, and to say Good bye while he could hear me.
That you gave me the opportunity to create truly magical, final memories has me weeping in gratitude, to be given the opportunity to pay homage to my best friend to do everything in my very best capacity, personally, not some guilt ridden long distance wish i could've been there thing.
You helped me be there for him when he needed and wanted it most, you helped me see his easy smile, one of his last laughs, to see him at his very best, instead of at his worst.
You are God, You are Miracles, You offer such Grace, You offer such Empathy, You give such Love.
On behalf of all of us that You bless so selflessly every day DU,
Thank You.
Love, John
