eBay sellers are determined to "rob" me of my retirement savings and investments...

as I rebuild my old vinyl collection. Even though I can easily listen to these old favorites with a simple "Alexa, play Tapestry" ... I really do enjoy the physical media (clicks, static, dust and all) along with the warm sounds and the artwork an liner notes and lyric sheets.

Heaven help me. (LOL!)

The vinyl can be cleaned... but the cardboard and paper will require a month-long treatment in a sealed container with activated carbon granules... OR... a quick treatment with an ozone generator.

Moving seniors to new living facilities, and then clearing out their homes and the saddest clearing out after someone has passed. I cleared out a woman's who was pediatric nurse only 74 and died of a pulmonary disease. She was a heavy smoker and was in AA. She looked like a nice person and weird things were happening as we were clearing out, items falling for no reason and sand on the floor that wasn’t there before!

One of my first buys was. Was Sgt Peppers in MONO. I’ve replaced almost all of the music but the quantity of albums was too big to move. But I sincerely miss them. CDs are so damned modern with their new fangled players. Is nothing sacred?

Through several moves, houses, apartments, one divorce and two marriages (one wife, one husband... and still together) no kids... I've garage-sold many items I wish I'd kept.

My judgement regarding what was important to me THEN vs NOW... not so good. But at least I have the chance now to re-evaluate and connect with others online who can help to rebuild those things that were once important to me then and that have significance now.

I knew I’d miss them. Not only the soundtrack of my life but corresponding liner notes and incredible artwork. Incredible memories. Benefits of being 70 something.

I am forbidden by my partner to make any more eBay purcgases.

She watches the ring cameras for deliveries.

Perhaps a P.O. box....

I'll probably need to make multiple purchases from the same ebay seller, and get them to combine shipping instead of multiple packages arriving at various times throughout the week.
