1. They are incredibly protective dogs. When I was really young, my young GS nipped at kids playing with me.

Dad sent the dog to a nice, isolated farm.

Great video! We adopted a female shepherd from a local GSD rescue group. She had been returned by the first person who adopted her because her vet said she was a "bad dog." Heidi was very dog reactive and didn't like men. But we worked through her issues and she was the best dog we've ever had. She lived until the age of 16, which is very old for a GSD. We lost her in 2020 during Covid and still miss her to this day.
