Gin, dry vermouth, Parfait Amour, and orange juice. I dont have Parfait Amour, so I substituted Aperol. Yummy!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

(71,762 posts)upscale family activity center. Calling it a bowling alley would give you entirely the wrong impression. It had a very nice restaurant and a sophisticated bar.
We all got drinks, and then got down to bowling. I thought I was going to be a very poor bowler, because I hadnt done it in years. I ended up with the third-highest score out of seventeen players.
My drink was a Pecan Pie Old Fashioned. Delicious! Sweet, smooth, and garnished with a wedge of candied bacon.
Great party!

(8,909 posts)Earlier in the day I went to my neighborhood liquor store - in Oregon you cant buy it at a grocery store - to replenish my supply of bourbon and vodka. When I got home I became curious about why the name on the vodka bottle label was Stoli instead of Stolichnaya and looked it up. It turns out the name was changed in support of Ukraine after the Russian invasion. It is, however, made in Latvia. All of that aside, nazdarovia mon ami!
