There's a Walton's episode called The Best Christmas Ever. Grandpa and Grandma Walton visit Maude at the nursing home outside of Walton's Mountain.
Anyway, grandpa calls his granddaughter Erin (who works as an telephone operator) and tells her that they're stranded due to the weather and they'll try to get home again in the morning which is Christmas morning.
As he hangs up the phone, he says, "Merry, Merry!"
That has stuck with me for years. And who doesn't like Will Greer? lol
