A solid five minutes or so, maybe longer - for a single cup. Morbius Dec 22 #19

Actually, I stop and dare. I have a flair for dare. Some say I move like Fred A-dare. The French tell me my dare is necessaire.

Temperature? Sea level or altitude where I live? Really, though, it does make a difference...

Coffee pour-overs are also a craft if you ask any barista. LOL

I'm sure you never have those now, do you? And yes, that is a question and a GD question mark.

When I make iced tea I make five cups of water and four tea bags, and steep it for about 20 minutes. Then I fill a 1/2 gallon bottle almost halfway with ice, and pour the tea over that. It's fairly strong but not bitter. I like doing this because I can mix different varieties of tea.

I don't drink coffee. Tea has a history going back millennia, a much more civilized beverage IMHO.
