Which further implies" Take your bread and make a little shoe to mop up your remaining spaghetti sauce.
But...I've never had cheesy bacon fries, but it sounds pretty good!

(1,632 posts)(of sorts). I take a big-arsed russet potato and slice it sideways every 1/4 or so (DONT cut all the way through the bottom!), drizzle some oil over it, maybe a dusting of onion powder and a little salt, then roast it in the air fryer (I have a special lid for my Instant Pot) for maybe 30 minutes or in the oven as long as it takes to bake through and get nicely browned and a little crispy at the edges.
Whilst thats going, I make mushroom gravy (I have dried morels!) and when the tatties are done, I plunk them in a big soup bowl, cover with (vegan) cheese (you do you) and then douse in the gravy.
I cant imagine plain ol cheesy fries could be as good
Its ridiculously satisfying, and fills up the chinks, especially in cold weather.

(7,586 posts)What is the obsession Americans have with high fructose corn syrup in everything, and the habit of having big doses of animal fat from bacon and cheese in their diet clogging arteries?
You'd think with the cost of healthcare and funerals they'd be a bit more careful.
