every time I’ve played the the tune in pick up bands or informal get togethers, everyone wants to take claim of Danko’s “Crazy Chester” verse. Everyone.

Speaking of which, have ya ever seen this? Jeff gets Chester, but stick around (sorry….) for Weir’s take on “Get your cannonballs” verse:

1) I don't think I've ever heard Jeff sing solo.

2) Bobby's voice in that verse!

3) I had to look up who the woman was (Maggie Rogers). She's good!

I've always loved Rick Danko.

And for a brief period in my young life, friends would tell me that I was his doppelganger!

Wore out The Last Waltz album.

And "It Makes No Difference" hits me in the heart. Thank you for posting this.
