I also make my own and they're pretty dang good too if I say so myself!

(435 posts)And dill relish. Except in potato salad where I prefer diced sweet pickles or sweet relish. My son likes a particular brand of dill pickles so much he drinks the "juice" when the jar is empty.

(76,132 posts)My wife thought it would be fun to get me some of those in a hot & spicy version.
Threw them out. As much as I like garlic dill pickles, these were way too hot! It was like the just poured pepper spray in the jar. Shazam, were those things hot.
So, I guess I like regular old garlic dill pickles.

"Bubbies" is pretty much the only brand that even comes close. Sometimes I make my own.
