Plenty of YouTube videos and parenting websites offer snowman-building advice, and there are about as many how-to guides as there are Let It Go parodies on the Internet. Someone even patented instructions for building a snowman/snowwoman in 2011. But all the advice might be for naught if you don't have science on your side. Understanding the physical properties of snow can help you figure out whether your masterpiece is even feasible, and the principles of stacking can then guide your efforts.

(515 posts)kids. If snow was in the next day forecast, we did a snow dance while lining up for dismissal. If it started snowing and we were at school, I took my class outside to enjoy the snow. There is a whale of a lot of education that has nothing to do with book learning. Lucky for anyone who has the luxury to enjoy a snow day and enormous thanks to those essential workers who keep things running.

(76,143 posts)Teachers around here are required to monitor the work being done.
They use software like Google Ckassroom & Forms, so they can tell who went through the presentation and took the notes.
Or IXL for math & language arts which runs a cumulative total of progress.
I'm not saying every kid plays ball, but I'd bet $100 a bunch do.
