Mischievous Elephant Thong Ae and Her Favorite Person

The connection that Thong Ae and Lek share is very special true soulmates of different species. Playful Thong Ae has developed a habit of pulling off Lek’s boots, for reasons that remain a mystery. She loves being close to Lek and eagerly follows her wherever she goes. It’s a bond built on love and mutual trust, and it is beautiful to witness at Elephant Nature Park.

that was wonderful!

I notice that Lek was stroking Thong Ae's foot when Thong Ae decided to remove Lek's boot; and in both cases after removing the boot and then Lek's had, the elephant tried to stroke Lek's foot and head. I wonder if Thong Ae simply wanted to return the caress without another layer in the way? And then when Lek hugged Thong Ae, the baby came up so that Led was "hugged" by the two elephants working together.
