...I was stationed in Japan with the Air Force nurse corps. Initially, there were no American TV shows available, with the sole exception of The Muppet Show on Sunday mornings.

Every Sunday morning, the bar at the Officers' Club would be full of people watching The Muppet Show because it was the only show in English.

3. I didn't think it was quite as good as most episodes of the original but it was still very good.

Sabrina Carpenter turned out to be a great guest star. The original series was so great. I hope they greenlight it for a full series now. I'm sure it will only get better as they get more and more comfortable with the new (old) format.

So I'm hoping it's re-launch will be good, too. I watched it last night and for a first show it was okay. I'm sure they'll get their mojo going as the show continues. I'm glad they left the opening number in as well as having Statler and Waldrof; those too are a riot.
