I'm hearing machine gun fire
Don't worry. It's just the Navy conducting security exercises this week in the San Diego area. I live in Coronado, Ca. and we have two bases, NAS North Island and Naval Amphibious Base, so we hear a lot of sounds from both bases. Jet noise from NAS North Island and gun fire from the Naval Amphibious Base. We're used to it so it really doesn't bother us.
