When we lived in the DC area, that's exactly how people drove. As if signaling their direction would reveal closely held government secrets.

I can’t imagine making a turn on a public roadway and not using my blinker!

People who don’t use turn signals are probably the same people who timidly merge from an on-ramp onto tithe interstate or who camp out in the passing lane thinking oblivious to all of us passing them on their right.

I never use bumper stickers—even for election season—but I’d have to consider your turn signal one!

I parked my car in that garage every night, and in the morning I would raise the door, get in my car and fasten my seat belt, and then back my car out 10 feet. Then disconnect my seat belt and get out of my car and close the garage door.

This was in 1969, and even until today, I have to remind myself, you're only going 10 feet, DON'T fasten your seat belt.

But I can't drive more than 10 feet without having my seat belt on!

People signal Right...you start to slightly go around...and they go Left !
My operative words are: Jesus Christ !!..followed by words that would shame a Sailor.

Believe me, those of us on foot especially appreciate when people use their turn signals. A lot of drivers forget to account for pedestrians and bicycles, which is really annoying.
