Very relieved that I don't have to report for jury duty tomorrow, after all.

The trial got "continued."

So, only two more weeks of checking in to see if I have to actually report.

That's the advantage of living in a small town. Not much trial action....

We are on call for two months. My term started at the beginning of January. The court clerk told me at that time there was about a 7% chance of getting called in, so I was surprised that we actually did get called.

He was looking at one year in jail, so must’ve taken a plea deal. My term for being called to jury duty is now expired, thankfully.
