1. I saw it the first day it opened in Amarillo.

There were maybe five people in the theater, sci-fi was not big in Amarillo. Within a week the news was full of the long lines and sold out screenings in NYC, LA, and Chicago, and soon it was sold out in Amarillo too.

I remember a story Harrison Ford told about Mark long days ago. They were getting ready to shoot a scene and Mark asked if his hair looked OK. Harrison told him "kid if all the audience is looking at is your hair, we've got much bigger problems!"
