Ask me anything .. I just set up a "smart" TV!

Hey .. but there was no 14 year-old around to do it for me. The smart-ass TV was a major technological challenge for me, who flew MD-80 and 737 jets with steam gauges.

Then .. THEN! .. I set up the old dumbass TV (a 2011 Samsung) on my desk and hooked it to my MacBook Pro laptop. Now I have a big screen monitor. The resolution is not great enough to process photo images, but it makes things easy to read.

Damn I'm smart!

My smart TV can only program the stations the antenna is pointing at. I cannot add a station from another direction. Have studied this problem for a few years and the only solution is 2 antennas on the tower.

.... and nothing worked. His daughter came over, got it cranking, but then his Gmail stopped working. She had to make another trip.

She is not a thirteen year old girl, but whenever any tech stops working he says "I have to call my thirteen year old girl."

Wonder Why

it is a pet peeve of mine to read about us geezers having other people take care of tech stuff - that just feeds into the notion we cannot keep up and that is FALSE!!!

With built in mirroring works fine for everything except my pirated MLB games; I can watch the game, but NO sound?

My primary smart tv is a Samsung, and it’s not Apple compatible so I use a Chrome cast dongle thingy.
