Good morning my DU family,

I. Sorry for the late start, I actually slept really well last night!!! Yay!

Of course I'm up here in Minneapolis to attend the memorial for my friend Rory.

I'm going to speak for a few moments and I'm reminded of lessons I've learned here and especially in the last few years, with Snuggles death anniversary only three days away too.

I've learned to and will celebrate the very best of Rory, to be thankful for all the wonderful ways he impacted my life, and how who I am today is in no small part a compilation of these very special times that just have happened to become parts of my souls foundation.

It is both an opportunity and a reminder for me to focus on how blessed I've been and I am, through grace, empathy, understanding and most of all, love.

Please give us a day filled with opportunities to celebrate those dearest to us, to know in our hearts how touched we've been through those gifts....both giving and receiving them.

Have a gratifying day DU,
I love you so very much, John

Good luck with your eulogy. I never was good at public speaking, but always admired people who was not afraid.
