Good morning my DU family,

Rory's memorial service was such a beautiful event, there were many laughs and tears throughout, his daughter bhad us all bawling with her beautiful tribute.

His grave is in one of the he most beautiful pieces of land he could've hoped for, overlooking a pond, with lots of vegetation, where he will witness every gorgeous sunset for eternity.

The one message that every single speaker had will be my message for this morning.

People who can't get out much for their various reasons absolutely relish your phone calls and visits. More than we could possibly know, as we are what keep them tethered to the rest of the world, instead of being forgotten.

Please give us a day filled with opportunities to slow down and reach out to one another, especially to those described above. Let us offer them the the respect, dignity and companionship they both need and deserve.

Have a blessfully connected day DU,
Love, John

I never met Rory, but I'm certain he would be pleased with his memorial service.

Have a safe trip back to Illinois.
