Our lilacs are blooming

and my husband, knowing how much I love them, brought in three vases worth of the flowers.

He also doesn't mow over the violets in the yard, until they are done blooming.

Lilacs and lilies of the valley are my absolute favorite flowers. My blessed grandma had them always in her yard. Heavenly.

My gramma had lilac bushes in her backyard and the fragrance was heavenly. And lilacs are pretty as well as fragrant.

8. I've seen the small Japanese lilacs

growing in containers.
