So on Friday my hot water heater had a few parts shorted out. I didn't have any hot water for the entire weekend.

I took only one shower, and it was super icy cold, and very uncomfortable. I didn't take any other showers over the weekend and stayed home.

Today a plumber came over and fixed the hot water heater. I now have hot water again. It felt so good to take a proper shower. It was absolutely heavenly.

You don't appreciate what you've got until you don't got it any more.

So this is a thank you thread for all plumbers out there in the world. They are quite simply among the unsung heroes of the world!
