I have my star back!

I wondered why I saw pop up ads yesterday and this morning? But I didn't give it much thought, until it dawned on me my Star membership expired yesterday.

$60 donation to DU got me my star back. $5 a month to hang with the best crowd online. And get my MFM fix.

A bargain, wish it could be more. Best liberal site online. Kudos to Skinner and company for giving all of us such a great place.

I think you should give some thing to the site if you enjoy it and can afford it. It doesn't have to be a bunch. I'm sure the admin will gladly take anything you can give.

I've been a member of this site since March 2003. I used to post under the user name Droopy before I learned how to respect myself. I've been a donor all that time, sometimes more than others, but the times I donated less weren't because my enjoyment of the place went down. It was just all I could afford. I'm kind of in one of those places now, but hopefully in the future I'll be able to afford to donate in other people's names again. A lot of people used to do that back when we had fundraisers. You don't see it as much anymore, at least not on the board.

Things are looking up. Just the relief of knowing I can have a star again was tremendous.

You can give any amount you want now...

No limits, either way!

It is a great place.....I'm so glad it exists!

I thought that was a good amount. I spend that some days at the convenience store in my office building buying on carb-free Monster and a protein bar.
