not quite positive why..the chocolate coating might have been a bit better to my taste...

Luckily I found a copycat recipe online at the king arthur flour site, which is probably better than the true version, since it's all real ingredients.

Ho-Hos, Ding-Dongs, and Apple fruit pies. That is, it would be if I still ate those things. Still, it was nice to know they were there, if I *did* want them.

My 10 y.o. daughter will miss the powdered donettes, which we get on weekends occasionally. It's probably for the best if we discontinue that practice, though.

I thought that statement was true until I saw the list of Hostess items.

Nature's Pride bread will no longer be on the shelves. For a mass market bread it was not bad. 100% Whole Wheat and Double Fiber were better than Arnold's for instance.
