Watching "North Dallas 40" on NBCSN -- tuned in 10 mins late... it started 15 mins ago.

Absolutely the finest football movie of all time (IMneverHO), but so NOT just a football
movie that it's an incredible movie with general audience appeal.
.
Highly entertaining and a thinly-veiled semi-fictional "expose" of the Dallas Cowboys
corporatization of football, it has some great acting by some football legends. Even
the singer Mac Davis shines as the quarterback.

"I know EVERYTHING, poot."

And NOBODY grunts like Nick Nolte grunts.

... straining while lifting massive weights -- the quarterback and wide receiver (Mac Davis and
Nick Nolte) were sitting at stations doing absolutely nothing but drinking beers, smoking and
blowing smoke rings.

There are some VERY funny moments in this film.
