Usually I hang around here.

Years ago I spent time on BON. We've recently moved so I don't have the extra time now.

Gardening, cooking, beekeeping. Don't really do that now. I joined a cycling forum recently, it's a little slow but nice people.

Going out and seeing what my friends post on there leads me down way different internet paths than I find on my own. Kinda fun (and informative) time-killer if that's what you're looking for.

Hi,
I have both Twitter and DU running when I'm at home or when I have a bit of slow time at work. I will have to check out some of the other suggestions listed by other posts here.

They have a poor reputation for mass trolling/griefing in online games and other forums, (though they've cut back on this a lot in the last couple of years) but their own forums are very well moderated, and have interesting and informed discussions on a wide variety of topics, and they have a lot of very funny and creative posters. There isn't an enforced political orthodoxy like there is here, but the prevailing political slant is liberal/progressive (from a mostly Gen-X and younger perspective rather than the Boomer perspective that prevails here).

I spend all of my time reading, but used to do a lot of youtube and networked with people there.

That's it. DU is my news source and I get more to read from the links here.

You want funny stuff to do
or
serious reading to do
or
mindless games
or
chat sites
or??????????????

Having said that, I found a LOT of full length movies, docs, medium size clips on You Tube
right now I am going thru The Actors Studio interviews, via You Tube, since I can copy them with download helper
and I also like Charlie Rose interviews
and some C span..

I am pretty much into "serious" factual stuff.
Plus, via the free app "Calibre" I can read books on the puter, I like the abilit to adjust the font size.

Or good computer info forums, for regular people.

Here's a film I watched 2 days ago:
