This lady needs a new navigator
So... having finished my grocery shopping at the local mall, I'm driving out of the lot when a lady zips up the wrong way on the exit ramp, headed right for me. Having nowhere to go (a line of traffic behind me) all I could do was slam on my brakes and wait to be smashed. Fortunately, she found her own brakes in time. Then, to affirm that this nutter shouldn't be anywhere near a steering wheel, she threw her car into reverse and drove backwards off the ramp right into the heavy cross traffic. I drew in my breath, waiting for a series of t-bones, with the screeching of tires coming in both directions as drivers slammed on their brakes. This lady looked totally unfazed the whole time. Then I caught sight of the license plate on the front of her car.... "God is my Co-Pilot". No kidding. I'm not sure exactly what message one could take away from that one, for sure.
